Mr. Connor Bernal

Mr. Connor Bernal is the son of Mr. Jesse Bernal. He began his martial arts journey in Kindergarten with a Japanese style of Karate, Goju-ryu. When his family moved to Colorado in 2009, he discovered a passion for Hip Hop Dance and the Afro-Brazilian Martial Art, Capoeira.
After studying Capoeira for almost three years, Connor took a short break from Martial Arts and focused on dance and singing. In September of 2014, when his Father, Jesse Bernal opened his Tang Soo Do school, he resumed his martial studies.
After years of practice and study, Mr. Connor Bernal was awarded his Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) in Tang Soo Do, in March of 2018. He continues to train, learn and teach at Colorado Martial Arts Academy.
